We are seeking a masters degree graduate with an emphasis in engineering and/or airworthiness to join our team at Diamond Family. In this role, you will undergo a structured training program aimed at developing skills and knowledge required for leadership roles within the aviation industry. The successful candidate will gain exposure to different departments and functions, with a particular focus on engineering/airworthiness operations.

Responsibilities

  • Rotational Assignments: Work closely with experienced aviation professionals to observe and learn best practices in various areas with focus on Engineering, Airworthiness. Secondarily you will gain a strong understanding of Productions, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales & Marketing in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of aviation operations.
  • Technical Training:
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of aircraft systems and components.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects.
  • Participate in the maintenance and repair of Engine to understand operational challenges and solutions.
  • Use engineering software and tools to model, simulate, and analyse engine performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance (Airworthiness):
  • Learn and understand national and international aviation regulations and standards.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing documentation required for airworthiness certification and compliance.
  • Participate in regulatory audits and inspections and help implement corrective actions.
  • Aviation certification:
  • Support the certification process of new and modified engines, systems, and components.
  • Assist in compiling and maintaining certification reports and records.
  • Work with design and engineering teams to ensure that modifications comply with airworthiness requirements.
  • Operational Support:
  • Gain exposure to daily operational activities in various departments such as quality, logistics and safety.
  • Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Participate in safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support the management team in addressing operational issues and developing solutions.
  • Networking
  • Build professional relationships with colleague, mentors, and industry professionals to broaden network and gain insights into industry trends and best practices

Skills

  • Masters or bachelors degree in Engineering, Aviation, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of aviation engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The position offers a statutory minimum salary of EUR 3.207,73 gross/month (HTL level) with the possibility of overpayment depending on your education, qualifications and previous experience.
