On Monday, July 22nd, Diamond Aircraft’s DART-750 took part in the Farnborough Airshow flight display, marking a first outing before a public audience for our new aerobatic trainer aircraft. Diamond Aircraft’s Head of Flight Test, Soeren Pedersen, piloted the successful flight, which included aerobatic maneuvers such as half loops, knife edge rolls, slow flight, and inverted flight. The DART will spend the remainder of the show on static display at the Diamond Aircraft stand.
In addition to this, Diamond Aircraft are displaying the latest configuration in our pathbreaking DA62 MPP (multi-purpose platform) range of special mission aircraft, the DA62 MPP Guardian, to the public for the first time. Leveraging the exceptional performance and cost-efficiency of Diamond’s market-leading DA62 aircraft, the DA62 MPP Guardian is a state-of-the-art airborne reconnaissance platform that blends ultra-high-definition imaging with the latest in real-time augmented reality mapping, while offering unrivaled communication and data transmission capabilities.
