Design Elegant and sportive
The sporty cockpit is one of the most comfortable and intuitive in its class thanks to ergonomically designed seats, available with leather or sheepskin seating surfaces and with 4-point inertia reel safety harnesses as well as a professional instrument panel with top quality equipment and materials throughout.
The DA20 canopy and rear windows offer incredible outward visibility to help you navigate, spot other traffic and above all, enjoy the flight.
Propulsion and Avionics Garmin avionics and engine choices
Whether you are a pilot holding a Night VFR (Night Visual Flight Rules) license or want to obtain it, the DA20 series is the ideal aircraft from first flight through night VFR.
The DA20 is available in two engine variants. Choose between a Bombardier Rotax 912 iS3c Sport with 100 hp - DA20i Katana - and a fuel injected 125 hp Continental IO-240-B32B - DA20-C1 airplane.
The engine installation is designed for durability and easy maintenance with crackproof composite forward and aft baffles, robust stainless-steel exhaust, easy access to filters and regular maintenance items, and quickly removable cowlings.
DA20-C1
The fuel injected 125 hp Continental IO-240-B32B with 2-blade fixed pitch propeller, installed in the DA20-C1, offers excellent climb and cruise performance, even at higher density altitudes. The aircraft is FAA/TCCA utility category certified for Night VFR and popularly used for primary training with the ability to do spin training. The perfect aircraft for private flying.
Relaunched in 2020, it is now equipped with new state-of-the-art Garmin G500TXi avionics.
